Built near the Namakkal Fort, this ancient temple is believed to be about 1500 years old. Kolli Hills is the most preferred weekend getaway in Namakkal. Part of the Eastern Ghats, the vegetation growing on this mountain range is considered to have medicinal values. The way to these hills passes through many treacherous bends before reaching attractions such as Arappalleeswarar Temple and the waterfalls of Akasa Gangai.
